I go to the doctor today to get something to help me sleep and help my concentration. She asks me my life story (even though I have told her before, same doctor for the past 8 years or so). I tell her, married high school sweetheart, joined the Navy, we divorced, met my daughters dad, didnt work out, then my sons dad, didnt work out and now the love of my life. She says to me youve been with a lot of men. SERIOUSLY? Im almost 40 years old. I certainly didnt PLAN for the ones who didnt work out to not work out. I dont need comments from the peanut gallery, it certainly wasnt my dream to be with the wrong man and all the stress and heartache that causes, I tried very hard, lots of relationship counseling and she says that and it makes me feel like something is wrong with me. I think that will be the last time I see her. Sometimes it takes a long winding road to be where you are supposed to be.
