In a sense it hit close to home for me. No Im not an addict, but I am surrounded by them. I do not judge someone for the things they do, for the way they handle things. Like these lyrics say, someone save me if you will, I can not make you change your ways if you suffer from addiction, and my goal is not to make you do anything. I sit and wait, in anticipation for you to ask for help, and I will offer my self, I will give all that I can to help you in any way that I can. No one deserves to be given up on, no one deserves to be forgotten, and every deserves a second chance. My brother got his second chance, he fought to become something better then he was. He fought for a life of redemption, and happiness and he got exactly what he fought for. My brother died a clean, new man. But somethings can not change, he still had that smile, brighter than all the stars in the sky. He had a heart bigger than anyone Ive ever met, and his strength and determination was always there. He taught me something, no obstacle is too big. No matter what may be holding you back, addiction, abuse, rape, or even something as small an just as important as not understanding; if you want something.
