I got an amazing lesson in organizing yesterday in Hyde County -- at the eastern end of NC. I get a bit crestfallen when I ask people in a room if they are online and theyre not. One woman said, but Im on the phone a lot and I can knock on doors. I realized that that is even more powerful than being online. What was I thinking? Im coming back out to Hyde to work with women ready to talk A LOT on the phone. They promised me strong coffee and something sweet to eat.
