I got more than a few messages and a couple of phone calls about my last post so let me clear the air! I am black... My mother is black father is black I am a proud of my African American decent. I know where I came from the ghetto of New Albany ms and I never want to return ( not saying new albany is a bad place to live)... So just because I choose to look at booth sides of the track from a white and a black prospective doesnt make me a sell out! Just because I rather go to , not a black nor a white church but a church with multi cultural backgrounds and I can look to my left and see somebody of different race doesnt mean Im stuck up! I choose to live this way because this is the path God set out for me. Just like you of nba or singing and making it a career and getting out the ghetto! My desire is to preach and teach to make it out in hopes to pull others out with me! Make no mistake I am an African American , I know the risk of when I get pulled over, or when anybody stops me I dont put my self at risk by sagging or cussing or doing anything that draws attention to my self! I am a child of God first and an African American 2 .... Mean if it ( anything ) is goin to stand in the way of getting me to Heaven why carry it around because there no color in heave!! So yes I will keep my white pastor ( who preaches amazingly by the way ) the way I dress and my life style Im happy are you?
