I got my new water/sewer bill today. Nobody mentioned the new format of a sheet of paper you can actually read instead of the little postcard we used to get (you know, the one with the smeary printing). Anyway, I checked it over and the dates of the readings and the readings themselves seem to be correct. No overlapping dates as some people reported. As for the amount owed, it is somewhat lower than what I had counted on with the new service fee rate. It is $68 and my average for the past year has been around $70. Of course that includes summertime when we use more water. If I just go by what we normally use during the winter then the average would be around $55. So that and the $12 increase works out about right. I hope everyone else got their bills straightened out.
