I got pulled over in texas! The police officer informed me that I was required to have a license plate on the back of my trailer that carries my boat. Now mind you, my boat is registered and insured in Oklahoma. Oklahoma does not issue or require you to have a tag or license plate on your trailer. I told this information to the officer as well as informing him that Oklahoma does not issue a license tag for you trailer. He said it is Texas state law and that I need a tag on my trailer. So I said ok I understand but now how do I get a tag for my trailer when Oklahoma does not issue any tags? He replied I dont know. Im just going to issue a warning sign here. so does anybody know the law here?
