I got so many thoughts about this i hope my many questions is understood in this one compound thought that im about to pose Question: Why do people always think prosperous Pastors are robbing the people by taking up an tithe or offering, when there are professional musicians and athletes that get paid a salary and still charge you at the door to witness their God given talent at work. And people happily pay the admission to witness something thats only momentary rather than sow into something that can change you and others for life. Analysis: Im guessing people forget that tithes and offering are voluntary and admission at these other event is guaranteed. So the giving of the people at a church service is at their own will but the admission to get in and get the Word is free. But if you want to see your favorite musician or athlete play, at the door or online before you can even get to the door fee is a must or you wont witness nothing. But people steady say the church only trying to get rich which is free to get in while they screaming in the front row of a concert that costed them they whole paycheck. Answer: Once again it shows that people think that God is at their leisure and they treat the church the same because it is of God. they think there should be no sacrifice on they behalf when it comes to receiving and advancing the Kingdom of God. God should bless them and all they got to do is just live. No actually us people of God give as a service to see the Kingdom, as It relates to a body of people advance and in support of our Pastor living comfortable and focusing full time on the ministry. Plus we want to see what we have experienced launch into the world, not just them four walls. That takes physical and financial support to do so. How do we expect our Pastors to not grow weary when they are spouses, parents, on call by every covenant partner, handling church affairs like bills etc, praying, studying, working a full time job trying to make ends meet, and continue to stay right with God. Most people cant do the last 2 things alone, not even speaking on counseling others who are head headed on how to do it. Closing: If you are a member of a congregation and your pastor blesses you and your family, support it at all cost to see that the mission be advanced, its the way of the Kingdom. The world support worldly things and call it living on high.
