I got this video from the organizers of the anti-NATO and anti-war demonstration organized yesterday (2014/10/18) in the city of Kaunas (Lithuania). The main leader of the protests Mr. Zilvinas Razminas was arrested by the Lithuanian police. It was a preventive arrest, just for some hours so he was was not able to speak in that meeting. Also was arrested Mr. H. Juodiška that was also one of the leaders of the protest. It looks that he was arrested not by the police but by the Military Police. He was arrested for 5 hours and was not able to speak in that meeting neither. The two arrested were later released. In this video there are some interviews in Lithuanian language. Since I have in facebook around 3.000 friends and 650 followers (mainly not lithuanians) I dont expect that you understand anything :) But anyway the video is pretty interesting. It was taken in Laisves Aleja the main avenue in Kaunas. Its autumn here but it feels already like winter. I have to say that after 8 years living in KaunasI love this city. And that I feel dissapointed and angry with the local politicians. Only authoritarian regimes arrest people just for their political opinions. The Lithuanian police should arrest criminals not decent citizens that are deffending their ideas.
