I got to see fleetingly a post to a mutual friend who has retired in OK from a young friend of his who is in the military. She posted (it was gone so quickly that I am not quoting exactly, but the gist is there), We are taught integrity when we join the army. If those guys said he is guilty, he is guilty! I was shocked and sickened! I thought she said an oath when she joined up to PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES? Now, she espouses that guilt is determined just by the accusation. I truly wonder if she realizes she is undermining the Constitution she has sworn to protect and defend with that statement. Thats the problem with so many CONservatives, and she comes from an ultra CONservative family, - they believe in the law until, CONveniently, it doesnt suit their needs or their beliefs. If Karma or the irony of Gods justice truly does exist, someday she just might have to repent those words. She needs to study The Scarlet Letter BEFORE she pins a scarlet D on Bergdahl; someday she might have to wear one herself.
