I got up in the morning with a loud cry of a calf! Rushed to the balcony of my flat from there I saw this little Nandi. I had seen him last evening also roaming around my place in sector 61, Noida and assumed that he will eventually find his mother but totally forgot that he is not lucky enough as Male calf in India has no right to stay with his mother, he is only sent to the slaughter housesby the dairy owners. May be this dairy owner didnt want to give him to the slaughter house so he was left abandoned on the street. I went down along with a pack of bread to feed the baby and saw that he is too too weak and malnourished as you can also see in the pics as he probably had nothing to eat and drink for days. Decided to get him inside the society complex and with the help of the guards and simultaneously called up Vibha at SPCA Noida who was extremely prompt in sending an ambulance which arrived in few minutes and took the calf to SPCA Noida for further treatment as the calf was not ready to eat anything still. I am sure he is in the safest hands at SPCA.
