I grew up in Maryland but never had the pleasure of eating a Bergers Cookie until I moved to Baltimore. They are incredibly good and I only buy a pack every couple of months, usually to serve to guests, and that is my general rule for sweets. They are not part of my daily diet nor do I know anyone who eats them gluttonously. While there is an obesity problem in the country, we do not need the Federal Government protecting us from every potentially harmful thing out there. I cant wait until the day that our government starts issuing Soylent Green cakes to replace all of the risky treats out there. (BTW, Soylent Green takes place 8 years from now...)
