I grew up in a multicultural surrounding, and I had White friends, Asian friends and even my cool Meskin friends. There were differences about all of us that were clearly noticeable, and there were differences also unseen. I had a friend named George whose father bought a car and opened a credit card, but added George to the credit card and car to build his credit. I thought to myself huh! George is only 15, why would his dad do that? His father would do things like that periodically with small pourchases, by adding Georges name to stuff. Well by the time George was 25 he bought a house with no money down, because his credit score was 880. He was paying less for a 3000 square foot home, than some folks pay for an apartment. My point is I see things like this in other cultures, but my own race doesnt seem to follow suit. Instead my people put stuff in their kids name and ruin little Daishas credit before shes 11. Were quick to buy stuff at Rent A Center and Aarons for triple the price, because we cant get credit with the name brand appliance and furniture stores. So now because of your bad credit youve paid $179 for a fricken toaster because of interest and a 24 month agreement. Your 1989 Hyundai Accent is worth $1300.00 and thats high Kelly blue book, yet you pay $2850.00 for new rims and tires at 50 dollars a month at Rimco. Then you post pictures on Facebook like your ballin, hell Id be ballin to if my rent was $37.00 on section 8. Why isnt credit important to US anymore? Get ya mind right and your priorities will be tight. ~The Justice League~
