I grew up on the 800 block Angus. CN rail line ran through across approx between 700 & 600 block. Kids living on north side of tracks were considered to be out of town & had to pay extra to attend city school (Kitchener). There was also a North Regina which had their own bus (had to transfer from Regina bus to N.Regina bus community), think they had their own power system. North of the tracks, which is now Coronation Park area, parents friends farmed. There were 2 drive-in theaters in that area (one was reportedly partially owned by Tommy Douglas) & I would tag along with older friends to watch movies (no access to speakers) outside the wire gates....on the way, had to make sure that we missed stepping on cow pies in the pastures.
