I guess I really hit a nerve today because it seems so many of you are REALLY wondering what this big announcement is for FLOAT. I was starting to think maybe no one cared that much about my update posts anymore....glad to know I was mistaken :) OK, so here it is...... FLOAT is pleased to announce that we are adding a third Master Class to our program at this years convention. Admittedly, its a different idea than we have done before, but its one that I think many of you will be clamoring about to be involved with. On Monday, February 2, FLOAT will present The Million Dollar Panel from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This class, the brain child of the evenings moderators, Blenda Hughes Berrier and Joette Meyers Giardina, will consist of a three-person panel discussion featuring three different balloon decorators who run three very different balloon businesses who collectively earn well over $1,000,000.00 a year in sales. Who might those panelists be, you ask? Well, Im pleased to tell you! The first is Amy Bible, our friend from Denver who just recently broadcast photos of her THIRD delivery truck she purchased, all the while remaining a successful home based operation. Our second panelist is the one and only David Mahoney, who absolutely rocks the Dallas market from a warehouse location. And bringing up the rear is popular FLOATer Jacquie Sopko, who runs a wildly successful retail location in Cleveland. There will be an additional fee for this class. Now some of you might be wondering....Wait a minute...what about the bonus classes offered that night from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM? Well, we debated that over and over again, and we decided that in order to successfully squeeze everyone in, the Bonus Classes have been backed up to a start time of 8:15 PM, but only on that Monday evening. Ill be updating the official schedule within the next day with the updated info for everyone. I for one am very excited about this class, and I fully plan to plant my butt squarely in a seat and find out just how these wonderful leaders in our industry have achieved the success I would like my balloon decor business to have.
