I guess because Im in my mid-30s now, thats why these questions like Why are you single? How come some woman hasnt come and scooped you up? and Why arent you with ______? Or I thought _______ was your girlfriend? continue and increase. I always go back to Serena Williams and what she said after she won one of the Grand Slams. She said that she couldnt get it right in relationships and with other things, so thats why she went back to tennis because its something she knows shes good at. I know Im a good writer. I know Im a good speaker. I know Im a good lover. I know Im a good teacher. I know Im a good matchmaker and a good friend. So, thats what Im going back to and Im embracing it over this pursuit of interpersonal love that very few people ever truly find. If you keep running into the same ditches and having the same accidents, you need to be a better driver. You dont need be racing with the fast ones or even spinning around in the bumpy dirt.
