I guess from time to time, we are ALL guilty of being a Facebook asshole. Hahaha Im guilty of being the worst, most unforgiving kind, and I hate that about myself. I REALLY need to just delete my account and get it over with. Ive proven time and again I dont have the social skills for it. The problem is, I really dont have but a few REAL friends, and FB is my only means of communication. Weve grown accustomed to having hundreds of vague, impersonal, yet somehow necessary online relationships. Its really lovely to see people we went to school with, getting married, having babies, and seeing it photo by photo. Unfortunately, its a false sense of intimacy. Im not sure how we go back from here. What the heck would happen if you received a beautifully hand-written letter(in the mailbox), from someone you havent seen in 20 years? That might be a bit odd huh? So....other than Allan in England(whom I chat with every day, all day long-most days), is there a single person in the world who would actually like to get a hand-written letter from me, including old fashioned printed photos? Its doubtful. If you, or any of your grandparents would, PLEASE feel free to message me, and send along a PO Box or home address(promise not to show up on your stoop unannounced with cookies). I could SERIOUSLY use an old fashioned pen pal...especially when I take a long term hiatus from this online nonsense. :D
