I guess it is about time I posted something about what is going on in my life. To make a long story short I have an ovarian tumour and will be having surgery Aug. 13 at the Juravinski in Hamilton. My blood tests and CT scan are showing this tumour to be highly suspicious of cancer. Through these last several weeks I have seen many doctors and had many tests. So many people have asked me if I am afraid. I can honestly say I have not been scared at all during this time. I have felt Gods amazing peace and strength over me. This peace and strength is not my own but can only come from Him. I want to thank all the prayer warriors in my life and all my family, friends, co-workers for their words of encouragement, love, and support. I feel so loved and cared for and covered in prayer. I am amazed that there are people praying for me that dont even know me. God listens and prayer changes things. Please continue to pray for peace and strength and healing for me and my family. My mom had a promise box when she was little and passed it down to me. It holds Gods promises to us. Many people called my mom to ask her to pray and pick promises for them and the promises always were exactly what was needed at the time. During my prayer time tonight I pulled 3 promises for me....here they are: 1.Thus shall they know that I the Lord their God am with them. Ezekiel 34:30 2.The Lord is with you while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you. 2 Chronicles 15:2 3. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. James 4:8 God is good.....
