I guess some people may think that it is not in our best advantage to post success story from another rescue . I guess i look at thing a tad differently. A BEAUTIFUL ENDING STORY TO ME IS JUST THAT IT IS ABOUT THE DOG AT THE END AND YES I HAVE NO PROBLEM POSTING A STORY WHERE THE CREDIT IS GIVEN WHERE IT BELONGS TO ANOTHER RESCUE AND THE FAMILY THAT MADE IT POSSIBLE TO HAPPEN THAT WAY :) Second Chance Animal Rescue Society added 3 new photos. 1 hr · Look at me now update: Hi There, I just wanted to give you an update on Jazz, formerly Jack. Our Saidie was 13 when she died and I didn’t know if I wanted another dog. It hurt to lose her and we missed her so much. After hearing about SCARS, I looked at their website in July 2013 and saw Jazz. He was attacked by a pack of dogs trying to protect his dog friend and his ear was nearly ripped off. He had major surgery to his head and ear and many of his teeth had to be pulled. My heart went out to this sweet dog… he looked like such a gentle soul. Once a week I’d check the site to see if he was still there. Finally I felt ready to have another dog and 8 months later my husband and I went to meet and take him for a walk. We decided right then that we wanted to adopt him. We are so glad we did as I missed loving a dog. He’s a cute, loving, kind gentle guy. He likes to go for walks and enjoys laying on the grass or deck. He loves to talk and it’s fun to hear the noises he makes. We love him so much and are so glad he is a part of our family.
