I guess the President is going to bypass Congress again, and use his executive authority to add a giant marine protection area to the Pacific Ocean. The Obama administration has used this authority to create environmental protections that mostly shut down commercial operations, hamper motorized access and generally restrict public access in 11 new National Monuments already -- without going thru Congress. I dont know about you, but I understand protecting resources and being a good conservationist, but wow, bypassing Congress at every turn does not set well with me. Whats your take?
