I guess this is yet another story to file under my What the F@$K? File. Are you serious? Apologize to an 11 year old who didnt stand for the Pledge of Alliance. Then he teacher scolded him. Why wouldnt he stand? Because it said under God. I dont think he deserves an apology, he deserves a swift kick in the ass! And a quick lesson about respect, also a lesson about what that flag represents. And those who died so that he can sit in that freaking classroom. Maybe give his parents a slap too for not teaching this young man about the great traditions this country was founded on! Anyone else livid like I am? Please share this story! Still cant believe this. As a footnote, I do believe the banner about prayer shouldnt be in a classroom. Religious beliefs should be left up to the family.
