I had a Bridget Jones Diary moment today. You know that scene in part 2 where Bridget is in a Thai jail with a bunch of women who talk about how bad their boyfriends and husbands are. Bridget thinks, Oh, Mark Darcy is a bad boyfriend too. Then the women lament about being in abused relationships or being trafficked by their partners. Then they turn to her: What did your boyfriend do to you? Did he beat you? Did he pimp you out? She thinks, Uh, my boyfriend doesnt pick up his socks. #kindagratefulforthehubbyrightnow
