I had a business meeting on skype discussing with potential venture capitalist about the potential of the minority market in the various aspects of the gaming industry. When I asked if these VCs were interested in possibly investing in African people and women in gaming they said... (copied word for word from my recording) Well be very honest with you, black people are just not reliable when it comes to getting work done. I cant speak for the rest of the people in this meeting but the facts are out there. Youre own people dont even support you. Im sure they have their reason but then again I dont see them supporting any other black organized entity in gaming. Lets not even talk about your women, they know more about Asian culture than they do about their own. Black is just not marketable. I hope you understand because Im not going to apologize for sounding racist. This is the turth and you know it. ~ White man Then I ask them ok, so why work with me? His answer was... You ever heard of the term, a person is smart, people are dumb. Well that is the situation that you are in. Based on your public profile you are one of the few Black men that will sacrifice anything for your ambition and the agenda. How can we not want to work with someone like you? Then I say, so youre willing to work with me but not willing to work with my people especially my women? (His reply to this question bothered me the most). Is that a serious question? Let me make this statement and ask you a question and take it how you will. Yes, Im willing to work with you. Who among your race is willing to work with you as well? There is more to this but I just wanted to put this online to create a conversation as what should my next move be. Also Im curious to find out what others opinion about this White man and whether he is telling the truth or simply being racist. The floor is yours brothers and sisters.... Im interested in hearing your opinion.
