I had a call a few minutes ago from a concerned voter whom I have never met. He said he and his house are going to vote for me- yes! He had gotten a call from a pollster saying after some harmless questions, If any of the following were true about Randy Lamb, would you be more or less likely to vote for him? The pollster wouldnt tell him who was paying for the poll, but he said it was rather obvious to him from the questions. It seems that negative polling asking the what if or when did you stop beating your wife questions about me have already started. Guess they want to see how to spin the facts and sling some dirt to see what might resonate with voters who let someone else do their thinking. I hope the voters are sick of negative campaigning- after all, if thats all you got it says nothing about your candidate being able and capable in his own right. Lets have some debates, lets have some forums- any night, every night until the election is over so the voters can size up the candidates based on facts and not innuendo. Lets makes this election about policy differences and not just politics- the people of the 27th District deserve that! One might campaign with sound bites and slogans, but the job of State Senator requires a mite more; and I have a mite more. High School Valedictorian, Electrical Engineer, attorney, church elder and Sunday school teacher, years of community involvement...
