I had a cop once take the stand against me and he resorted to lying in an attempt to have me convicted of a crime that I was acquitted of. I am sitting there realizing that I am the only one that KNOWS he is lying. Anyway, whether anyone on the jury realized it, I cannot say, but my trust in the honesty of the police has forever been changed. Are we living in a police state? What I see happening is right out of George Orwells Nineteen Eighty Four and our governments spying on their citizens (NSA) is Orwellian as well.
