I had a fantastic long stop in Phuket! It could have been dreadfully dull! I grab a taxi and told the driver to take me to the closest beach town: NAI YANG: 10 minutes drive from the airport! It was so early: only 7:30pm. I said hello to a bunch of Thai ladies in a foot massage Parlor and had a great 1.30 hour massage! LOVELY! These ladies recommended a restaurant: OCTOPUS! Had LAAB beautiful minced chicken, chilly and lime warm salad! Followed by Tamarind prawn: simply glorious!!! I befriended Mr. Lehk, the owner of Octopus. When I told him that I was flying tonight he offered to drive me to the airport as his house is past the airport! Thai people are so nice!!!
