I had a glorious time with Jesus today on my way home from my job. As I was driving home I was worshipping in the Spirit and one phrase from a song really stuck out in my mind. The phrase was; why do the nations rage, when the King is in control? This by the Holy Spirit led me into a glorious and deeper time with Jesus. Started making me think, why do the nations rage, why do people rage, why do people fret, worry, fear and stress about things that they cannot control when the King is in control. God has a plan for each and everyone of our lives and He is in control of our lives, our situations and everything that we see around us. Question: Are we letting Him be in control? Have we surrendered control of our lives to the King? Are we still trying to control our own fate, our own destiny? Are we still stressing about how its all going to work out? As a rudder controls a great ship, God is in control of our lives and He knows where He wants to take us if we just surrender our lives to His control. Theres no need to worry, fret, stress and rage over how its all going to play out. He will lead us to our destiny and where He wants us to be if we surrender control of our lives to the King. Romans 8:28 tells those of us who know and love God that all things work out for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Hebrews 4: 14-16 tells us that we have a great and compassionate High Priest that has gone on before us that has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession of faith. It says we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. So whatever you are going through Jesus knows and understands and because of His blood and through that blood you can come boldly and confidently to His throne of grace with your heads held high without any shame or guilt so that you may obtain mercy and find grace in your time of need. Theres no need to fret, worry, fear, stress and rage because the King is on the throne and you can come to that throne in your time of need. It can be a glorious experience with the Lord as I experienced today as I was driving home and worshipping in the Spirit. I was basically thanking Jesus over and over and over and telling Him I love him over and over and thanking Him for his mercy. As I was thanking, praising, loving him I felt his love come into the car so strong and I ended up in tears as I was driving down the road. I felt like Jesus was sitting next to me. Those tears that I was crying led me deeper into His Presence. When were in his Presence we know that everything in our lives will work out somehow for our good and in his perfect timing. So whatever your may be facing today surrender it all and yourself into the hands of the King. He will see you through and lead you to the destiny that He has for you.
