I had a glorious weekend! On Friday night, my three youngest grandchildren and I attended a musical telling of the story of Daniel called Lions and Prayers and Flames Oh My! It was a three-day event which was held at one of our local churches. I love stage plays and was blessed with tickets via Jeannie Thomas who also performed and sang in the musical!! Jeannie, at one time, was my neighbor , my early morning walking buddy as well as one of my directors while working at the Post Office. Kudos Jeannie! On Saturday, the grandchildren and I visited the Science Center (a playground for your head) for over two hours! They inquired as to whether we were having lunch at McDonalds. I answered: No. Were having lunch at Mc-Mawmaws! (You know some of those juicy homemade Eddie Murphys Mama Burgers! )Ha! Theyve already planned our upcoming weekend. Not to mention suggesting: Mawmaw. Can you make reservations for all of us to spend the weekend at the Embassy Suite?! Please! We need to get away! Yeah! Right! Ive sorta kinda been thinking about it. Itll have to wait until after I complete summer school which starts this Wednesday for 8 weeks.Ha! Lifes Good :-)
