I had a great solar observing session this morning using the Coronado Personal Solar Telescope which I borrowed from the Saint John Astronomy Club. The face of the Sun was only lightly speckled this morning with 8 or 9 small sunspots along the solar equator. Both the leading and trailing limbs featured delicate solar prominence loops. No monster eruptions or deep holes today now that we are past solar maximum.
