I had a great trip today on some of the new toll roads as we were on our way to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and Christian School in Carrollton. We went to visit their Senior group which meets monthly for lunch. The theme of todays lunch was Dog Days of Summer and the tables were so cleverly decorated. My handlers and I were invited so they could share information about me and the K-9 Comfort Dog ministry. SO, my handler began by explaining that I am a Lutheran dog. There was laughter so she repeated the statement again - more laughter. Then they realized she was serious and they really started listening carefully. They asked great questions. What an awesome group of wonderful people. I told them Id come back anytime!
