I had a low-key interview with one of Nashvilles prestigious music business families a few weeks ago -- they really want me to be the personal assistant to the husband, retired president of Sony Records. He has stepped down due to his recent struggle with dementia. Sometimes he thinks I am taking him to run errands and other times he sits me down to discuss my record deal (I wish, LOL) during which I have to gently remind him that we are only doing housework. :P He is one of the cutest old men Ive ever met. Great sense of humor and very laid back. Many great stories to tell from his music career! His wife is the manager of quite a few popular artists in the country music industry, though she wishes not to disclose who she works with. She says that when she works out at the gym she has people lifting weights next to her asking her for their big break. LOL Anyhow, I think its really cool that they favor me. They live in a humble, yet very beautiful home amongst other locals in downtown Nashville. If I didnt have a commitment to another job, and if things dont work out with school within the next month I would be very well off and happy working full-time for this awesome family. Ive gotten some amazing opportunities since I started chasing my dreams in Music City. :)
