I had a phone call from Scott Harper today, a member of this page, for the purpose of throwing some ideas around.. i quickly found myself liking what Scott was saying, firstly that Unicef is a massive world wide childrens charity and they spend loads on advertising and spreading the word.... Definitely pencil them in for a barrage of begging letters/email/tweets etc etc... But the idea i was most impressed with was this.. if we are raising money for several charities, we could dedicate a Land Rover to be that charities mascot and spray it up in the charities logo colours ...now i know what your thinking, unless its a really cool design and colour theres no way your chariot of smolder is being sprayed....i can understand that, totally.. BUT there is a very big possibility that on this trip your pride and joy is going to collect a few dents , scuffs and scratches or worse, so wouldnt it be nice if ,in return for the time and effort youve put in to this venture to help others that your pride and joy gets a nice new shiney paint job upon its return?... Ill leave you to ponder over that one...
