I had a positive visit with the neurologist yesterday. Surgery on my sagging cerebellum has been taken off the agenda, which is fine by me! Instead I will get steroid injections in the back of my neck and I am still awaiting insurance approval to get BOTOX injections. Today I will start taking TOPOMAX and Magnesium supplements. I took TOPOMAX several years ago and experienced two of its major side effects (tingling/numbness in my fingers and short-term memory loss), but my doctor wanted me to try it again for at least a month. I really hope I experience TOPOMAXs other side effect, weight loss! That would make the other 2 much more tolerable! :-D
