I had a pretty good shopping trip today. 6 boxes of Cocoa Puffs/Reeces Cereal for .40 each, my best price yet. Cashier was treating me like I copied the coupons or something, then the manager tried embarrassing me saying the #s were the same, I said that is impossible, they were printed separately, she showed me what she was talking about, then I showed her the pin and informed the manager she was looking at a universal Barcode not the pin and that the pins are in fact all different #s. I think I ended up embarrassing her, because she said, yes go ahead and scan these and took off. The last thing I would do is cheat-- I have a family to be there for and I would never do that anyhow. I am an honest person :-). I had a cartful for $23, regular $90. I walked out happy :-) I guess I have heard of this happening to people, and its not a really good feeling when someone does that to you, but then again, when you know you are right, there is nothing to worry about.
