I had a problem where D-Pad buttons would activate randomly on my - TopicsExpress

I had a problem where D-Pad buttons would activate randomly on my PS3 Gamepad. I know this is kind of common problem and It can be fixed. So if anyone has same problem: It turned out that there is a kind of foam padding behind connector and it gets compressed over time and this causes random button pushes when you push analog sticks. Solution in this video helped, though it was trickier to assemble than video shows it to be, you need to align connector correctly or some buttons wont work. Connecting game-pad to PC and using windows gamepad configurator is easy way to test this.
