I had a query on Facebook about the enhanced provision that Portlethen primary will be receiving. Here is the answer from Aberdeenshire Councils quality improvement officer Deborah Masson, which I received this evening. It will be of interest to other parents too. She writes: It has taken me a couple of days to get an update from those involved with the Enhanced Provision at Portlethen. I can confirm that the work required to adapt the space identified is underway and a further site visit is planned for this week to progress the remaining works to be carried out. The meeting may have been postponed due to the Head teacher’s absence this term. It should be possible to provide an update for parents after the site visit and before the end of term. I will ensure that this happens.
