I had a really cool day here at camp. First , I woke up. Then I went down town. To look for a job. Then I hung out in front of the drug store. Haha but heres the real story. For my cooking class I made pizza bread on hot dog buns with the scouts. I went through over a gallon of butter, hundreds of hotdog buns and countless pounds of cheese and sausage. The scouts and I had a great time making the pizza bread and cooking it in the camp fire (and none of the 112 of them got injured :) . Then I went to a dinner to which my favorite troop invited me and many staff members. Theyre all Asian and Omfmfg the food was amazing and the generous hospitality was second to none in my book. The last dish brought out was this sweetened egg plant and ground meat which they laughingly told us was dog. It was so ridiculously delicious that I seriously did not know what to do with my self. I was inclined to scream or jump up and down but ended up just eating more until I was a hairs breadth from needing to be carried out of the campsite. To top off the day a went with the Astronomy class to a place away from light and was rewarded with the most astronomically glorious array of stars I have ever seen. I literally wanted to cry it was so great. Tomorrow Ill be attempting peach cobbler and homemade Ice cream with my gymormous classes. Wishe luck, I have high hopes.
