I had a rough spot today with some trivial billing issue and wasted a trip out to buy some recording equipment that I still do not have. On top of that, I spoke to some rather unpleasant customer service individuals on the phone as well as in person that really brought these old misanthropic feelings back to me. They took me to a dark place. I was not on my guard and I gave these people too much of my precious energy (which could have been better spent through something else) through my frustration and inner turmoil/anger. On the drive home I didnt think much of anything, save for my precariously unbalanced situation.
