I had a very challenging day today--- A BIG PHONE COMPANY (A BLANK & BLANK) -you know who I am talking about, telling me that a hook up to my house is my problem and not theirs! Called 1.5 weeks ago to have service hooked up to our TV and Internet-Date and time was set. Both parties; the service installer and ourselves made it happen, we changed our plans / work schedules to make that happen (loss of money for 90% of the people I know). 10 mins later, the nice service installer told me that he needed access to a neighbors backyard and could not hook us up due to a small dog nipping at his heels. I ask what is the next step-he told me to hook up with that neighbor and work something out? What? that should be your responsiblity--there is a EASEMENT in our yards-the right of passage for utilities and such. He told me to call his Supervisor / Office if that did not work. With that said and for the record-I did check to see if that dog was nipping like he said, it was-good call on his part for not going in and putting himself at risk. I proceeded to call as told and this is what happen. Called and put on hold approx. 30 minutes and was disconnected. Called back to be put on hold again for about 15 mins- to be told there is nothing that can be done. I told this tech that you do not care about my service like he kept stating, over and over-you just care about our / my money. Next call and 3 people later-even though I ask for a Supervisor or Mananger about 3 time over the couse of 1.5 hours-went this way. I ask are you a Supervisor or Manager that can help, or are you just another tech---for the 4th time I had to give my info again and again and still not reach a supervisor or Manager? What is up with that----The phone recording kept saying they care about our service over and over----I guess that is the norm and what else are they to say-maybe-we really care about your money! Either way-finally hooked up with a Supervisor---I asked for his name-got ID number-great! During this long 15 min talk with this Supervisor-and being told he would have went into the back yard himself??????????????????? I stated for the record, I would not expect that of the installer, you, your wife, your kid or the CEO of the Company--the Installer did the right thing-at this point, I told him that I have been paying for your service for a long time-both cell, land line and DSL--way over 200 dollars a month and this is the service I get. I also told this Supervisor that there are 2 houses on both sides of this neighbors house and 4 more behind-or roughly 10 house hooked up to this hub that needed accessed. If you can not get to that backyard for me, you cannot or will not for the others hooked up; therefor you do not care about service just our money. I have spent some 300 dollars a month with this BIG PHONE COMPANY (A BLANK & BLANK)-and this is the sevice one gets. I would have thought that being told (to that supervisor) that Facebook is a wonderful thing if use right-I would have got a call from someone-that has not happen. You pay someone, you should expect service-over 10 years dealing with this BIG PHONE COMPANY-just to find out it and our society is just about lip service / money. The whole notion that they care and want to service us is all a bunch of you know; the dog did it last night. For the record-that 300+ dollars a month we were paying to this company for cells, TV, Land line-etc. is like the service I am not getting or asking for-----What should have happen: A Supervisor or Manager gets on the line ASAP once there is a Customer with a big problem-and handles it like a real company would or should. To tell me on the phone that he would have went into that backyard and put himself at risk-tells me he does not care about the NICE INSTALLER, HIS WIFE, KID, THE CEO OR THE COMPANY---no one should have said that. I feel bad for anyone under him--other statements that I should not say on this site were stated-and very distrubing to say the least and damaging to this company.
