I had a very fun time racing ASBK this weekend. It was the 2nd race for me on the 1000cc and I am learning more each time I throw a leg over it! The track temp was a soaring 51 degrees! Tyre choice was a big element and I struggled with front brake performance. In race 1 I had a terrible start being placed 15th leading into T2 on the first lap. I managed to work my way up to finish 9th overall and first in C grade. There was only one 17 lap race to be had due to a heavy thunderstorm leaving the track marshals no option but to stop racing for the day. It was a great experience and I took a lot away from the race meet. Im very keen to work with XXX Rated Race Suspension further and progress next time we race back at QR in June.
