I had a weird dream. I found myself in a cathedral that was also a convention center of sorts, and there were a large number of people gathered there, of all ages, and something told me they were Catholics. I felt out of place because some of the Catholic churchs teachings are at odds with my heart, but I was also intrigued, because I was raised Catholic, and still believe there is much wisdom to be found there. I seemed to be invisible to all of the people, but then I came across a couple, a woman and a man, who welcomed me warmly. The man said that he knew who I was; he had seen me there before. Instantly, that moment and the moment in the past (when I had been there before) were merged, and I saw myself looking very forlorn, dressed in rags, wearing a knapsack, and looking like a street orphan. The man said that at the instant he saw me for the first time, Jesus and the 8th Archangel both kissed him, one on each cheek. Just as he was telling me this, though, one of the younger Catholics, a teenager, got into my knapsack and stole a few dollars, the only money I had left. I perceived that it was all a trick to distract me and steal my money, so I yelled at the man, You didnt see Jesus! The man was stunned, aware of what had just happened but knowing he could do nothing to convince me otherwise. But at that moment I knew that he wasnt lying, he HAD seen Jesus, and that the pick-pocket who had robbed me was just a sorry case who didnt know any better- and that the truly sorry thing would be if I didnt believe just because one bad apple had ruined it for me. Then I woke up. Today I looked up the Archangels to see who the 8th one was, but I found out that there are only seven. Now Im confused. I really dont know what to make of this dream. No, Im not a Catholic again, and I doubt I ever will be. It was a really nice-feeling dream, though, and I think it means something...
