I had an amazing human experience today, as two guys cat called me at a gas station and I started sobbing, emotionally hungover from losing my home and radically shifting my life and all its systems, saying with my hands in the air not today, just please leave me alone today...one guy walked off, but with the other (who became stunned & concerned) I had a tank-long discussion about processing emotions when life knocks you down. He was visibly affected by my copious tears and apologized to see me suffering in such a state. We dont all mean bad, he said, (I think noticing that his comment ripped open my wounds) just you know, trying to express....in the end Daryl and I had a good handshake- he still tried to give me his number-but the tone was something else now. Something much more human. I declined and drove off still in tears....I wonder if he will hesitate next time he wants to yell out at a lady....
