I had an interesting encounter today... I took my children to eat lunch at Five Guys before dropping off my youngest son at his afternoon pre-k class. My daughter, who is two this Friday, kept turning around to the people behind us and waving at them. She then showed them her hat and kept trying to get their attention. All the while, I could hear them talking about Michael Jackson and Prince, and the lady made the statement that she thought they sounded the same. Shortly after this conversation, they get up to leave but the lady stops at my table to ask how old my daughter is. I told her, then said, interesting fact about MJ and Prince: they both were once Jehovahs Witnesses. She said, Really? I didnt know that. I also used to be a JW. I laughed, then explain that I was, too. I was like, Im shunned though, so... She said excitedly, so am I! LOL So, Wendy from CT, if youre here, feel free to friend me. ;)
