I had an interesting experience this evening on my way to Performance Edge. I stopped at a Stop n Rob to grab a quick snack. As I pulled in to my parking spot I scanned the parking lot and noticed two people walking at a pace that would put them at the door at about the same time as me. In order to paint the appropriate picture in your mind I will refer to the male as Gangster Rapper Dude and the unrelated female as Sorority Chick. Both were on their phones. When I got to the door I did what I am sure most of you would expect, I held it open for them before I went in. Gangster Rapper Dude was first. As he approached the door I heard him tell the person on the other end of his phone call to “hold on”. He then looked at me and said “Thank You, Sir”. A few paces behind him Sorority Chick looked at me, snarled, and then tried to run Gangster Rapper Dude over while running through the door. There are two important lessons for you in this. 1) Scan the parking lot before getting out of your car. 2) Just because they look like Gangster Rapper Dudes does not mean they are not nice people.
