I had been trying to cancel my STC Landline internet, since I was not using it for more than 6 months due to I was out of KSA. When I came back, they charged me 310 SAR and I paid for it, I ask to cancel or close my account to them after paying the said amount,However, they said I have to pay for 350 SAR cancellation fee. I did pay them the moment they informed me, and they said it was successfully cancelled, but then after 5 days, I received a text message in arabic which i made it translated by my jordanian colleague and he said that my STC account was reactivated, I called 907 to find out why, a rude customer service informed me that he will request to cancel my account. I told him that I already cancelled it in their branch at king fahad road and paid for 350 cancellation fee. He said it was not cancel and was reactivated. He said, he will request to cancel my account, but I must pay first for 81 SAR before I can request for cancellation. I asked him why I should pay more money while I did cancel it in the first place, he said he does not know. I asked for a supervisor, he said he cannot speak English "what kind of customer service STC has" a supervisor who cannot even understand English... If I only knew that it will take me a lot of headache just to ask for cancelling my account that is not even used for half a year, I would have never applied for STC... The customer service even was not giving a good service, I was very patient and yet it reached my limit... wheeew...
