First, all of us who call for a reduction in spending are being hypocrites if we simultaneously want to keep pork flowing into Mississippi. Second, regardless of how you feel about federal spending, the money coming into Mississippi is virtually all mandatory spending. Send a three-legged dog up there and well still get it absent entitlement reform.
