I had my first 6 mile run this morning in Latvia and despite the fact that I have turned vegetarian I was still full as much energy and strength as before.....long may it continue! If any one is curious as to why I have turned vegetarian then I will happily do a video blog explaining so, should there be a great demand for it. Also and very much tragically I ran pass a family of Ferrel cats on a street bench chilling out in the morning sun. Upon passing them on my second lap I saw one of the 3 wee kittens that was previously full of life laying in road dead! No cars bothered to stop to remove the kitten from the road, they instead just drove around it. So on my third lap I removed the kitty from the road and placed it under a tree near its family and promised myself that If they were there on my next run then I would bring them some food and water. Hopefully I will have my headcam with me to capture the little stars on film so watch this space! The things you see when running in the early hours eh?
