I had my first chemo today. Went prepared, lots of fluids, warm throw. They give you a warm blanket but I sat on it and put my thicker throw over me. Very comfy. I was a little uptight and the nurse said they usually give a little something to calm a person down through the fluid lines, I looked at my daughter and she nodded affirmative. My beautiful daughter Myra Hinson sat with me for 5 hours without leaving for lunch or anything. I would rouse up from my little something they put in my fluids there she would be smiling her beautiful smile. Thank you Myra!!! Her husband Steven brought chinese to me tonight for dinner which I had been craving all afternoon. Thank you Steve. Nausea wont begin until tomorrow they say. I am prepared. I hope they are right on the nausea timeline because I dont want that chinese to be redelivered.
