I had my parts painted. I collected them yesterday. Unfortunately the front guard had to have another touch as something was missed in the early stages of putting on the silver/grey. I dont know the colour but I do have a card with the paint brand and the colour code. I had mixed into the silver an Emerald green pearl. The silver was depending on a few factors to mix the pearl into it. I had to keep the metal flake to a minimum. Still waiting on Aust Post to deliver some heat shrink I ordered and then to wait till the engineering shop I use to open after Xmas. I need to have new mounts welded into my forks so I can mount up newer Tokico calipers and then final assembly can happen. Still stuck for an ignition switch. Would any of the Americans on this site be happy to take a look at their local wrecker to find the correct ignition switch for my Z. There are plenty on Ebay claiming to be a copy of the correct thing. Not so. I can put up some pics of a broken switch I bought from a wrecker to see what differences you need to look for. I dont see ignition switches come up on ebay from the wreckers. Ill post up more pics when the sun comes out. Overcast day here today.
