I had no idea these types of cremes even existed. White people want to get dark, brown people want to get light. My, my what a weird world we live in. Teach your children to love themselves and others for all they are as a whole. Lead by example, dont criticize yourself or others. If you dont like someones colour of hair or multiple piercings or tattoos or clothing, keep it to yourself. It may not seem like a big deal to you but this is what our children hear and then deem it acceptable to do the same. We have been conditioned to judge. Stop the cycle. In honour of Ichthyosis Awareness Month I think its only appropriate to ask that you try to be kind to all you meet, but especially sensitive to those with visible differences.
