I had one very disturbing dream a week or two ago where I was in this red desert. The sand was red and there were areas of red muddy clay. I was running with this group from some creatures that looked like a mix between a fish, snake, and an eel. They were dismembering everyone in my group. Terrified I woke myself out of the dream because I feared of being dismembered. I had no insight as to what it meant until recently coincidently listening to someone elses dream story. I learned that aboriginal Australian tribes believed that a creature like the one I described was the original creation. When a shaman was being initiated the elders would tell the creation story involving the great Eel.
